Sometimes, if you’re not sure about something, it might be a little scary. But the more you know, the better you feel. And with a friend to be by your side, things don’t seem quite so scary after all.
Especially when you meet a friend like Felix the Frog. With his big furry feet and a teeny tiny crown on the tiptop of his head, you’ll know he’s a prince of a guy who will make you laugh and smile!
Felix is not just any frog. With his big, wide grin and great big eyes, it’s as if you’ve known him for a long, long time.
He’s like magic. He lives in an enchanted forest where he and his friends frolic all day, hopping from lily pad to lily pad and back again. Laughing as only a frog can do – “Ribbit, Ribbit, Ribbit!” This enchanted forest is like no other because the animals that live and play here often travel many miles to help out their human friends. They might have a pain or taken a tumble from their bike, and the doctor needs to have a picture of their brain, arm, or leg. It takes a special machine to do that called an MRI. While it might seem scary, there’s no need to be, says Felix. It’s like a giant rocket ship. Just climb inside, close your eyes, lie very, very still just like a statue and imagine just how high you can go!
“See,” Felix says, “it doesn’t hurt a bit and when you’re done, the doctor has really good pictures to find out just why you feel so bad,” Felix says.
“Well, it looks like my job’s all done here,” Felix says with a wink and that big wide grin of his. And as he hops back to his home in the enchanted forest, you hear his familiar laugh once more.
It’s that happy laugh that only frogs can do. “Ribbit. Ribbit. Ribbit.”
